Veterans Day Tribute
Veterans Park, Redondo Beach
Redondo Beach will observe Veterans Day at the Veterans Memorial in beautiful Veterans Park by the Redondo Pier. The ceremony will begin at 1PM on Monday, 11 November. The event will include reflection, commentary, music and honors to all those who have worn the uniform of their country.
Colonel Andrew Dermanoski, US Space Force, Commander of Los Angeles Air Force Base is keynote speaker. Mayor Pro Tem Paige Kaluderovic will make a civic greeting on behalf of the City of Redondo Beach. Other community leaders, elected officials, veterans and military dignitaries will also participate. A veteran from the local community will be presented the Flag from the Memorial during the ceremony.
Music provided by the Redondo Beach Union High School Band.
The Coastal Naval Sea Cadets, Redondo High Junior ROTC and the Scouts are supporting Veterans Day.
Veterans Day Tribute to be followed by a BBQ hosted by the Redondo Beach Elks Lodge in the Elks parking lot south of their building adjacent to Veterans Park.
The BBQ is free to all veterans and members of the military and first responders.
The Veterans Day celebration is open to the public.
