Tuesday Response
Immediate Engine Response

RB Fire immediately sent two Fire engines with full crews to the Palisades Fire. The request was made and fulfilled immediately, with one of our brand new engines being sent to support the operations.

The investment in our new equipment and training was paramount to this response.

Wednesday Response
Additional Fire & Police Resources

When the Hollywood fire broke out, we immediately sent a third engine to assist in West LA in support of emergency calls for service. This totaled  three engines with a full fire crew.

Our Police Chief provided a total of 12 officers and two sergeants.  The Police officers made three arrests, two involving attempted robbery.

Thursday Response
Greater Jurisdictional Response

We continued to support all aspects of the disaster. Our personnel continued to stay in place until resources from Northern California, out of State resources, and National Guard is in place.

Police were dispatched to the Eaton Fire, on a peacekeeping mission to ensure no looting.

Friday Response
Draw down & Local Response

Fire and Police resources slowly being drawn down, with Fire personnel to remain for the next 5+ days until more Statewide resources are made available.

Locally, extra public safety patrols are being made for sensitive areas.

always ready – We responded

I couldn’t be more proud of our community to support our Fire Department, the resources we allocated to them and the updated training over the last two years. It paid off!

Thank you!

  • Two new fire engines, creating the newest fleet in the South Bay.

  • Updated training programs to go along with our updated fleet.

  • At or near 100% staffing levels. This is a monumental win, with most Departments unable to full fill their staffing capabilities.

Fire Storm

Our brave firefighters were in the middle of the firestorm Tuesday night. They battled alongside hundreds of other firefighters that night.

Full Staffing

Our ability to provide three engines during this time is nothing but extraordinary.

This means we were able to provide both of our extra engines for the disaster, but additionally an extra engine from our regular staffing needs.

We were able to backup everything to keep us safe.
