The Mayor is elected at large and one Council Member is elected from each of the Five Council Districts. The Mayor and Council also sit as members of the Successor Agency to the Former Redevelopment Agency, Parking Authority, Public Financing Authority and Housing Authority. Council Meetings are held on the first and third Tuesdays of each month beginning at 6:00 p.m. held at the Council Chambers at 415 Diamond Street (Calendar).
